Everyone quickly began leaving and Jodi walked upstairs to get her clothes. She saw Daniel humping his girlfriend. She guessed the fucked and made up. Grabbing her clothes she walked into the hall and quickly got dressed.
Walking to her dorm she fell asleep.
Chapter 13
Several weeks had passed and she was very late for her period. She knew the only person who had sex with her without protection was to blame. Her English Professor – and he wasn’t going to like to hear the news.
Walking into his class he was passing out their reports from two weeks ago and she had aced it – as always. He began the lecture and as time began to crawl slowly the bell finally rang. Staying in her seat she waited for the rest of the class to clear out and that was when she walked down to his desk.
“Matt,” she said. “I think I’m pregnant – and you’re the only candidate to be the father since you didn’t wear protection.”
She watched as he looked down to his desk and he nodded. “I don’t know what to say. Is there something I can do?”
“I know that I can’t disclose who the father is of the baby, but I just wanted you to know now verses later. I am going to take the test and see.”
“Jodi I am so sorry.”
“It is okay,” she said slowly. “Things like this happen for a reason right?”
As she said it she knew she couldn’t even convince herself. She looked to him and nodded as she walked away. He said nothing, all he did was look at his desk in wonder and she was out in the hallway. That was when she heard him say her name.
Stopping he walked over towards her. “Look if you are pregnant can you tell me what you are going to do?”
Holding her breath she was stumped. It was a good question, and she did not have an answer to it. “I don’t believe in abortion,” she finally got out. “I don’t know if I should put the baby up for adoption. I guess I’ll figure it out.”
“No. We will figure it out. That is my child too and we will need to figure this out together.”
Nodding she turned away and walked outside. She called the only person in the world who wouldn’t judge her, even though they argued all the time.
“Hey Jodi is everything okay sweetie?”
“No everything is not okay mom. Could you pick me up please?”
“Of course I can. Is there anything I need to bring for you right now?”
“No thanks.”
“Alright, and Jodi everything is going to be okay. I promise.”
She was no longer able to speak. She was just numb.

Sitting in the car with her mother they were silent at first. She knew her mother had a million questions about what was wrong, but she was biting her tongue. Jodi couldn’t find words, she knew what she wanted to say, but she couldn’t. She felt as if she had gone mute.
“I think I’m pregnant,” she finally blurted out.
Her mother looked surprised but she didn’t lash out. “Are you sure?”
“I’ve never had an irregular period before mom. I am several weeks late and this guy I slept with didn’t use protection. Mom what do I do?”
Her mother pulled into a McDonald’s and went to the drive thru. “Well first we get something greasy and sweet to eat and then we talk about it and cry.”
“Sounds like a good plan.”
“Trust me sweetie it is the best plan.”
After they had ordered they had driven to a park and began eating. She had no clue how to raise a child. She never babysat or even touched a child. She had always kept away from that, and she never wanted to be a mother. In her head she felt she would never be good at it.
“Well we need to get you tested for starters. And then based on the results we are going to make some decisions. Jodi, I know you must be scared. I know I was when I was pregnant with Parker, but you will get through it. You are a very strong girl.”
“I don’t think I am ready to be a mother.”
Chuckling Amanda looked to her daughter and spoke. “No one is ever ready to be a parent. Ever. No matter how much planning you have you’ll never be ready. With babies it is a roller coaster ride and as they get older there are more and more flips and turns. As a parent you always have to think of your child first and then yourself second. Your father and I love you children so much no matter what hell you would bring.”
“I guess, but I am far from ready. I am a party girl. Now I am going to change to a different scene.”
“Jodi you had your fun. And despite you partying you still get good grades. All this baby will bring you is a new perspective.”
“Mom I am terrified.”
“You have every right to be. Just know that even though this is happening you will always have your family at your side. Always.”
Chapter 14
7 Months Later
Looking at herself in the mirror she couldn’t take her eyes off of her stomach. It was huge! But she didn’t care because her daughter was in there. She still wasn’t ready to be a mother, but she knew she had no other choice. Over the first few weeks she had come to love her child and knew she was going to keep her.
Grabbing her purse she walked downstairs and saw Matt standing there. He had been supportive the entire time, but he refused to commit to her. There were other girls he wanted to be with, and despite the initial anger she had come to accept it.
Walking outside they were heading to the doctors for another check-up. So far they’d determined that the baby was healthy and had no issues. She was going to be delivered in November and after that her entire life would change once more.
Jodi had cut out partying, but she had not cut out sleeping around. Being pregnant had given her a new set of hormones that were impossible to control. And since Matt wasn’t always available she had sought out other men for her pleasure.
“Are you alright?”
She turned to him and nodded. “Yeah I am just fine. I’m just feeling lightheaded and hungry.”
“After the appointment I should take you out then.”
“No thanks. My mother is cooking my favorite dish and her food is better for our baby then greasy stuff.”
“Okay, mom knows best.”
Matt had started distancing himself little by little. Jodi knew that he had only stayed around for their baby, and not for her. It didn’t bother her that much anymore though. It was better than him leaving entirely.
At the doctors she felt as their daughter began kicking. Taking Matt’s hand she put it on her belly and she watched as his eyes lit up. He was excited to be a father that much was obvious. They were had already decided on a name. Emma. It had been Matt’s sister who had died in a car accident several years back.
Finally, they were called back and they went. Going into the room the nurse stepped out and left them alone.
“So are you just going to live with your mother?”
“Yes. She had three of us and we all came out alright. Besides she has been supportive about all of this.”
“Would you like to move in with me?”
“Wouldn’t that bother your random sluts?”
He shook his head. “I wasn’t sleeping around,” he finally admitted. “Those days that I wasn’t allowing you over were days I was house hunting.”
She couldn’t speak. She felt guilty because she had been sleeping around the way she had. “Why?”
“Because I want to make a proposal,” he said. “This is our daughter, and we both love her very much. Your mom’s house is crowded as it is and living together makes sense. And I love you Jodi. Not just because you are the mother of my child, but also because of who you are. And the house I picked out is two streets away from you mom.”
She was speechless, as if her vocal cords were twisted and knotted together because she had no clue what to say. “And now I want to ask you something really important. – Will you marry me?”
She was flustered and abashed and didn’t know what to say, but she knew how she felt. Al
l she could do was nod and then the doctor walked in. “So today we are just doing routine blood work,” he began.

After the appointment he was driving her to their new home, and she just couldn’t believe it. Parking she saw their new home. It was white with red trim and a red door. It was beautiful. Getting out of the car he unlocked it and they walked inside.
There were hardwood floors throughout and the walls were beige. “This is a three bedroom two and a half bathroom. I felt that it was perfect in every way.”
Turning towards him she nodded. Kissing him on the neck she was attempting to hold back tears of joy. She felt as his head bowed and she kissed his lips. She could feel the intensity that they were having and he led her to the bedroom.
She felt as his hands trailed up and down her body and she wanted him. Catching a glimpse of the room it was furnished and she felt as he pushed her down to the bed. Pulling off her jeans she spread her legs and felt as he entered.
She felt as he kissed her belly and felt as his hands massaged her sore bosom. She was completely overwhelmed and that was when she felt a pressure in her vagina. In pain she pushed him off of her and she walked to the bathroom and felt the liquid running down her legs. She was in labor.
Dialing her mother’s number she waited for her to answer. “Hello Jodi how are you?”
“I’m in labor mom. Meet me at the hospital please.”
Matt was there holding her as they walked out to the car. Getting her inside she couldn’t help but feel the pain in her lower back. She wanted to scream but no sound came out of her mouth. Matt took his free hand and offered it to her. She squeezed it with force and she saw him wince, but she didn’t care. This hurt too much for her to care.
As they arrived at the hospital was when she saw her mother there waiting. Being admitted she was taken to the delivery room. Her mother and Matt at her side the entire time. She wanted to scream, but mostly she wanted this pain to go away.
In the room she watched as the nurses came in and they helped prop her legs up. Matt was holding her left hand her mother was holding her right. She went into labor early – was her baby going to be okay? Fighting back tears she heard the doctor talking. He said something about pushing.
She listened for three and she pushed. She had to push three times and that was when the pain was gone and she heard the cries of her daughter. It was over. She saw her daughter being held and being brought over to the other side of the room. Sucking in a deep breath her mother nodded to her, reassuring her that everything was alright. Matt kissed her forehead and she knew in her heart everything was alright. Nothing was wrong.
Chapter 15
Staying at the hospital Matt was at her side and in her arms was their daughter. Kissing Matt she heard her mother come into the room. She had brought food from home and placed it on the table. Looking at her mother she smiled. “Makes everything so much better doesn’t it?”
“Yes it sure does. Makes you very tired too. So what did you bring?”
“Lasagna – the way you like it to be cooked.”
“Sounds very appetizing, thank you mom.”
“No problem. So what are your plans now?”
She had already obtained her associates degree and she knew she would have to get her bachelors. “I am going to take a semester off and then I am going back to school.”
“And I will be teaching still,” said Matt. “My hours will be the same, but I would still be able to be there for the baby.”
“Sounds like a good idea.”
§
Several months had passed and that was when Matt came home from work. Emma was sleeping through the nights and was very quiet even when she was up. Sitting at the dining room table she felt Matt behind her. Kissing her neck she laughed and turned to face him. “Yes?”
“You want to have some fun? It will only take a few minutes of your time – and this time we’ll be careful.”
Getting up she kissed him and nodded. Leading her to the bedroom she was on top of him. She pulled her dress over her head and her hands were working on slipping off his pants. Slipping his cock inside of her she felt as he began to nibble at her breasts. Taking her tits he began to suck them and soon he rolled over making her go on the bottom.
Thrusting his cock as deep as he could inside of her and she felt as she trembled. She looked him in the eyes and he smiled at her. Kissing her lips she nibbled his lower lip and felt as his fingers stroked her neck. She didn’t want him to stop and so he didn’t. That was when he pulled out and got up.
She heard Emma crying over the baby monitor and they knew that they were going to get used to all of this. Smiling at Matt as he walked away she got dressed and walked out with him. He held their daughter and she knew that their future was going to be a good one.
